Here at MAAYAH Tea, you have a rare opportunity to experience Assam tea culture and take a look behind the scenes of a local tea farm in a rural Assam village. By joining our Tea Tour, tea lovers will be able to witness first hand experience of a micro farm and enhance their understanding of Assam teas. The tour will involve a visit to our tea fields to learn about tea farming followed by an in-house tea tasting session of our handmade teas.

- Pickup from Airport/Hotel.(Till Dibrugarh & Tinsukia town only)
- 12:00 PM- Welcome Tea & a brief introduction.
- 12:30 PM- Walk through the Tea Gardens-Visit our beautiful tea fields, meet and experience the life of a rural tea farmers, try hand plucking tea leaves.
- 1:30 PM- Learn about Handmade Tea Processing.
- 2:00 PM- Tea Tasting- Interactive tasting of our handmade & specialties teas- paired with local snacks. (5 teas in total)

2:45 PM- Q&A and farewell- Ask Tea questions, browse through our Tea shop and farewell. - 3:00 PM-Drop to Airport/Hotel. (Till Dibrugarh & Tinsukia town only)
Tour Price :
Tour price is 20,000 Indian rupees/person including tax available for up to 12 people . The price includes
- Pickup & Drop from Airport/hotel
- Guided visit to our beautiful tea fields and tea processing unit.
- Meeting local tea farmers and workers
- Interactive tasting of 5 different kinds of locally made Assam teas.
- Local sweets/snacks.

Important notes :
Below are the important notes for tea tour :
- Tea Tour Language- Tour will be held in English, but our staff can conduct the tour in Hindi, Assamese and Nepali. Kindly request language change prior the tour.
- Â Rainy & Monsoon Days- Rain gears and boots are provided. Wearing comfortable clothing is recommended. Paths may be muddy and slippery – adding an extra adventure to tea farming. Children and elderly guests should be careful walking.

- Before 20 days: Full refund
- 20 – 10 days before the tour date: 50% refund
- Less than 10 days before the tour date: No refund
- In case of a refund, refund amount will be transferred after deducting the Transfer and Booking Fees.

Frequently asked questions
Is Transport facility mandatory ?
- Yes. Our Tea farm is located in a remote area. The local transport available are non scheduled, non-reliable and take much longer travel time. For better reliability and to be in schedule we have made the transport facility mandatory. After the booking confirmation-we will reach out to you to know the pickup location. We will schedule the pickup accordingly.(Pickup available from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia or any nearby towns only) Guests are requested to reach these towns on pickup time.
What is the luggage allowance for each guest ?
Each guest is allowed to bring one large bag and one piece of hand luggage.
Is there a vegetarian option available for lunch ?
Yes, we offer vegetarian options for Lunch. Lunch is optional- Let us know if required. ( Write on the notes while booking or email us after booking conformation)
Is the tea tour accessible for guests who may not be comfortable with walking ?
If you’re not comfortable walking in the tea fields, please let our staff know before the morning orientation session, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. This is a group tour designed to enjoy with other guests, and visiting the tea fields is a highlight of our Assam tea farm experience. For guests who cannot walk, we also offer a private tour option that can be tailored to your group’s needs. Please contact us by email before booking to arrange this option.
What happens to the tea tour if there is heavy rain ?
The tea tour will continue as scheduled, even in heavy rain, as long as public transportation (including taxis) is operational and not completely stopped.
Questions about child fees and child participation ?
Children under 6 years old are free. Children over 6 years old are charged the adult rate. It is a sharing group tour where you can learn about tea in a fun way and we love welcoming child participants.
When making a reservation, please be sure to let us know in the comments how many children under 6 years old you have. Depending on the reservation situation, we will make secure seats for children under 6 years old.
